Assumption and St. Anne’s Students Win and Qualify for Provincial Technological

On Saturday April 20th, 7 students from the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board competed in the 2013 Ontario Technological Skills qualifying competitions in London, Ontario. ~They competed in Culinary, TV, Film and Video as well as 2D Character Animation.

Quinn Conlon with her fearless competitive skills and many hours of hard training secured the first place spot in the Culinary Arts Competition. Daniel Renaud received a certificate of achievement in the culinary category and placed third overall. Lucas Morris with his impeccable knife skills and culinary talent received a certificate of achievement and honourable mention.  Quinn will be moving on to Provincial Competitions in Waterloo May 7, 2013.  

Alique Ashekian and Rachel Bessette placed first in the 2D Character Animation category and will also compete in the Provincial competitions.  Joining them will be Ian Virtue who won in the Photography category. ~ We are very proud of all of our students who represented our board with extreme skill and pride and wish them the best of luck in the Provincial
