Multicultural Festival at Assumption

Media Release

Assumption's longstanding tradition continues after 25 years. Staff and students of Assumption College Catholic High School love to share their diversity, and it has become a tradition during education week.

The multicultural club (over 70 students) organizes major events through out the week, with the culmination of a 15 booth celebration of various ethnic foods and exhibits.

Many students dress in their traditional outfits accompanied with music. This festival is anticipated all year, not only by the staff and students, but their parents and CEC staff as well. The money collected from selling trinkets or their tasty morsels are donated to the mission club to help social agencies such as the cancer foundation.

The festival is set for May 8 around 11:00 am. See you there.
