Optimist Club Essay Contest

As in past years, the Optimist Club of Roseville-Fontainebleu will be hosting an Essay Contest and an Oratorical contest.
The following is information about these two contests where the students can compete for scholarships.
Essay contest
Topic for the 2015-2016 School Year is:"Lead by Example: Reality or Fiction"
The Roseville-Fontainebleu Optimist Club's deadline for this contest is January 31, 2016.
Students can either email their Essay and entry form to  vanzet@uwindsor.ca or they can submit it to me by dropping it off or mailing to

Oratorical Contest
Topic for the 2015-2016 School Year is: "How My Best Brings Out the Best in Others."
We have not yet set a date for this contest, but it will probably be in late February or early March.

We are encouraging every student to participate, with each student pledging a minimum of $5.00.
Mrs. Nehmetallah's cooking class will be providing a HOT DOG lunch. Yum!

Classes with 100 % participation will receive a free pizza lunch!

Modern Language Club

"ART OF THIS LAND" Exhibit

Please see the attached flyer highlighting art work from the summer camp held for First Nations, Metis and Inuit Youth in partnership with Turtle Island at the University of Windsor. This was another successful summer camp held in the art studio at Catholic Central. The Exhibition reception is being held on September 12 at Mackenzie Hall.
